Surf Industry continues to do well even in tough economic times

Surf related product retail sales hit $6.24 Billion in 2010 in the U.S. alone according to the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA), the surf/skate industry continues to move forward during challenging economic times. In a third-party research study conducted by the Leisure Trends Group (LTG) and commissioned by SIMA, the 2010 SIMA Retail Distribution Study, findings released today indicate growing trends for the industry’s core product categories, new products and board types help fuel the growth.
